Welcome to the USS Nicholson!

Space: The final frontier. This infinite place, filled with wonder and light, is the home of the Federation, the Klingon Empire, the Vulcans... races striving together to make something out of nothing, to boldly go where few have gone and do what few have done.

Not every thing in this endless frontier is adventure and glory; even now, people suffer, people die, and lives are irrevocably changed. The near destruction of the planet Romulus created a power vacuum that has spilled out into surrounding systems and clutures. Warlords are fighting for a slice of space that was once dominated by Romulan forces. Smugglers run contraband and illegal supplies from one side of the galaxy to another, and the Federation and her allies are left charged with the task of cleaning it all up.

The USS Nicholson, an Akira-class starship in Pegasus Fleet's 11th Task Force, is part of the solution. Equipped with the finest in Federation military technology, the Nicholson – or the “Nick” as she is affectionately know by her crew – serves as a rapid response ship, the first defender on site when trouble stirs up. Her stalwart, ragtag crew is ready for any danger and any risk, to keep the members of the Federation alive and safe.

Hi all!

We are nearing the end of Rules of Acquisition which means we'll be on to hunt down a Romulan Warlord and wrap up this arc! I hope you guys have had as much fun chasing Tallis as I have. It's been awesome to watch the larger story unfold. And never fear, there's plenty more where that came from!

In other news, I'd like to bid an big ole Nicholson welcome to our new Chief Intelligence Officer, Provisional Lieutenant Commander Narayn Ballard! He's the former CO of the USS Nimitz over in Task Group Atlantis and a really excellent writer, I'm glad to have him on board. He'll be on board ICly shortly after Rules of Acquisition is done and dusted.

Also of note, Admiral Constantine saw fit to promote your lovably grouchy CO to Commodore. I can only assume LOTS of Romulan Ale was involved. On the plus side, that means the rank cap just got raised on the Nicholson, so chase the stars lol.

Really happy with the activity I've been seeing out of you guys, lately! Let's keep it up and rock this ship!

Hi guys!

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I'll be on semi-LOA for the next little bit here. RL tasks are piling up and I'm lacking some time. I won't be gone gone, and I'll try to keep up with any ongoing JPs we may have. Kitty is working on spinning up a mini-mission to keep you busy while I'm partially out of commission.

Also: David (aka Brandon Bragg, CSecO) has had to resign due to RL time constraints. If you know of anyone in the mood to fill a Chief Sec spot, please let me know!

"Federation Science Vessel." The Knox's comm system boomed with the voice of the Ritorian on the bridge of the Carivaar-class which had pursued them into the nebula. "Shut down your engines and submit to active scans."

"Identify yourself. Immediately." Boomed the loud speaker.

Joe came bursting into the room where Ila and MuRiel waited and waved them out the door, "Got the info. Time to go. Now." He said, with no explanation or further fanfare.

There was a flurry of activity as boots slapped against the deck plating. The deck crew moved en masse, carrying a pilot among them.

The pilot, obviously wounded, was looking more like his pride was wounded than any part of his body.

"Careful, careful... Easy Jenkins! DAMNIT!!! I said EASY!!!"…
